we go away when we die-- forever

we go away when we die-- forever

some say that death is black

death, an empty hole that traps you

others say death is a place of joy

place with your lost family

living lavishly and happily

heaven, hell, nothing

they’re all the same

each just a name

describing the escape

we are all too scared to say the truth about it

what happens when we die?

your body lying cold in a closed casket

wilted flowers lie on top of the grave

sign of the lost, forgotten memory you are

buried underground

an empty soul

someone tell me what happens when we die

gunshots

drowning

suffocation

suicide

fire

heart-attack

name the rest yourself

answer me

when we die, what happens

answer me

answer me

embers flying into the air

like petals from a rose tossed into the wind

hopelessly spiraling in the air

life’s a sinking boat

and no one dragging me to shore

alone

forever

look

help!

too late

curiosity never killed anyone

until now
